A good export document is also a good import document as it will carry all the information needed to allow both sides of the transaction to understand exactly what is needed (an example is in the Toolbox Tab).  Good documentation includes quantity, description, prices, details of licenses, tariff, details of applicable Customs schemes, INCOTERMS and contacts of all the parties to the transaction.  Other documents include Carnets, Preference Certifications and other requirements such as Certificate of Origin / Airworthiness, Conformity, and so forth.  One of the most important matters to establish as soon as possible is the correct, accurate weight of each item and the dimensions.  All aspects of freight and shipping depend on this.
